30-Day Returns

You have 30 days from the day you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility

To be eligible, items must be:

  • In the same condition as received

  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase

Return Shipping Costs

  • Unless the return is due to our error or a defective item, you cover return shipping.

  • From outside Switzerland: mark the parcel “Returned goods – no commercial value.” Any inbound duties/taxes we’re charged will be deducted from your refund.

Warranty

All products come with a 2-year warranty under Swiss law. If a product develops a fault within this period, please contact us at store@buildacubesat.space and we will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item as appropriate.

Products explicitly marked as Experimental or Prototype are excluded from this warranty. These items are provided as-is, without guarantees of fitness or durability, and are not eligible for warranty claims. This exclusion does not affect your legal rights in cases of gross negligence or intent.

Damages & Issues (DOA/Defects)

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 7 days if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Include your order number and photos of the packaging and item so we can make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way is to return the item and place a new order. Once your return is approved, we’ll guide you.

EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If the merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have 14 days to cancel for any reason. Items must be returned unused, with tags, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. (This statutory right does not apply to digital downloads or custom/personalized goods once production has begun.)

Refunds

  • We’ll email you when we receive and inspect your return.

  • If approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Your bank/issuer may need additional time to post the refund.

  • If 15 business days pass after our approval and you don’t see the refund, email store@buildacubesat.space.

Non-Collectible/Refused Parcels

If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we’ll refund the item price minus any shipping and return-to-sender fees once it’s back with us (items must be in original, resaleable condition).
